Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems are designed for racing-oriented riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. Both systems feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials, and of course increased engine performance. Their quality and reputation are further augmented by the use of the high-tech HYDROFORMING production process to form the header tubes. Besides performance, you will also benefit from great weight savings of up to 5.24 kg when compared to the stock system. The change will also be visual as our HEXAGONAL mufflers perfectly fit the exterior line of the Fireblade and add a clean racing image. Systems are not homologated and are developed only for race track use.
Power & Torque: The exhaust system modification with the EVOLUTION system results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 174 HP at 12310 rpm on the back wheel. But the increased power is not available just at the top of the range; the system already shows its quality from 3000 rpm up through the entire rpm range. Maximum increased power between an Akrapovic and a stock system is 4.7 HP at 12750 rpm. In addition, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area at 4000 rpm and in the middle to high rpm area.

Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems are designed for riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. Both systems are significantly lighter if compared to stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems were developed to complement the racing character of the CBR 600 RR. Evolution system is made entirely of our exclusive high grade titanium while Racing system uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium or carbon-fiber mufflers for each combination. Both systems are not street legal and are designed for racing purpose only.
Power & Torque: the exhaust system modification with the EVOLUTION system results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 115.6 HP at 14070 rpm on back wheel. But the increased power isn’t available just at the top of the range; the system shows its quality already from 5000 rpm up through entire rpm range. Max. increased power between the Akrapovic and the stock system is 6.4 HP at 13820 rpm. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area at 3000 rpm and from middle to high rpm area.

Akrapovic Racing and Evolution exhaust systems are the top of the line of the Akrapovic range, designed for riders who demand the most from their exhaust system in terms of both quality and performance. The Racing and Evolution versions for the Suzuki differ only in their materials. The header tubes for both systems (including the Evolution 2) partially formed using HYDROFORMING technology!

NOTE1: We have also developed an Akrapovic EVOLUTION 2 exhaust system for the Suzuki GSX-R 1000, which is intended only for races and championships which allow louder exhaust systems – 107 dB. The EVOLUTION 2 differs from the EVOLUTION 1 and RACING systems in the design of the muffler. The muffler is shorter and louder (103 dB) than the muffler for the EVOLUTION 1 and RACING systems. The Akrapovic carbon-fiber bracket is mandatory (instead of optional as for the RACING and EVOLUTION 1). The EVOLUTION 2 is only suitable for certain types of competition!

NOTE2: Racing, Evolution, and Evolution 2 systems with the HEXAGONAL muffler are also available for the 2005-2006 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. Performance is identical to the oval muffler.
